Trevor Noah Tweets Get Him Fired From Daily Show

The big announcement on Monday was the new replacement for Jon Stewart on the Daily Show would be a largely unknown comedian named Trevor Noah. But only 24 hours later, his old Twitter posts have surfaced and it looks like a swift firing could be underway.

Many consider Trevor’s tweets as not just tasteless and offending, but very unfunny and bland.

“This dude de-thrones Jon Stewart? Guy can’t even put out a funny tweet,” was a common sentiment among fans of The Daily Show.

As pressure mounts, it appears as if Trevor’s tweets could cost him his job, one that he only held for 24 hours.

Producer’s of the Daily Show are now re-considering one of their original favorites for a Jon Stewart replacement, the comedian Carrot Top.
