Oscar Pistorius To Serve 10 MONTHS In Prison, Forced To Wear Tiny Children’s Prosthetics
Pretoria, South Africa. The shamed South African sprinter Oscar Pistorius was officially sentenced to 5 years in prison, but will likely only serve 10 months for the killing of his girlfriend.
While many are outraged at the short amount of time Pistorious will spend behind bars, another question arises in regards to his legs:
Will he be given his prosthetics for prison time?
South African prisons can be brutal facilities filled with harsh violence. Pistorious had reportedly planned to spend more than $50,000 dollars to a U.S. Company for custom prosthetics which would make him over 7.5 feet tall. He had figured the manipulated height intimidation would fend off potential prison attacks.
But according to insiders, the judge learned about Oscar’s ploy, and not only shot it down, but added a twist.
“The judge initially wasn’t going to allow the fake legs at all after learning about the ploy. But now the judge is actually allowing prosthetics, but with a twist: she is requiring them to be only about a foot high, basically a small child’s model. This will have Oscar walking around in a dangerous and violent South African jail at about 5 foot 2.” says an unnamed source. This would be a big drop from his anticipated height of almost 8 feet.
Those outraged by the sentencing are at least relieved by the rumored leg extension decision.
“It’ll only be 10 months, but he aint going to be no giant in there…it’s going to be 10 months of shame, humiliation, and hopefully some ass kickin, as in he’ll get his 5 foot 2 butt whipped around in there real good.” says American Ron Pallindy a gun safety advocate who has followed the trial “since day one”, and didn’t agree with the sentencing.
