First Look At Zack Galifianakis as Aquaman

The latest effort to put DC Comics characters on the big screen involves a motion picture currently in production starring Zack Galifianakis as the King of Atlantis and co-founder of the Justice League, better known as AQUAMAN.

Galifianakis’s superhero character will appear alongside Ben Affleck as Batman, Henry Cavill as Superman, and Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman in the film Batman Versus Spiderman,  as well as a future film Aquaman and Wonder Woman Take on the Universe and Win.  The latter film features a stormy romance between the two super heroes, played by Zack and Gal. The intense romance ends badly, until the universe falls victim to the evil Skeletor and the two are forced to reconcile their differences and save the universe, which in turn makes their romance blossom even stronger and steamier than before.

A very controversial choice for the character of Aquaman, Galifianakis counters that he was on the swim team all four years in high school and believes it is time for a more realistic body image Superhero to be featured in cinema.

“You watch a lot of these actors bulk up, wear body suits, take steroids, all for playing a character that only children really care about! Kids are not going to notice nor care how developed a superhero’s deltoids are or whether their trapezius muscles are pronounced. They appreciate seeing some slightly fat butt who kinda resembles their dad.”

Father’s everywhere are applauding the actor for braving the temptation to lose weight, lift weights, and take Human Growth Hormone. They are praising Zack for keeping it real and resembling a more realistic role model that kids will more easily be able to relate, and look up to.
